Alusín Solar has been recognized as a Gazelle Company in the region of Aviles!
We are pleased to share that Alusín Solar has been considered a Gazelle Company, a distinction that underlines our status as a high-growth company, capable of doubling its size in a short period, with an annual rate of more than 20% for at least three consecutive years.
In the region of Avilés, a total of eight companies eight companies have achieved this status, generating a total of more than 200 jobs. Of these, seven are in Avilés and one in Corvera. We are especially proud to be an active part of this group of companies that are putting our region on the map of business growth.
What is a gazelle company?
These are young companies (less than five years of existence) that generate more than 10 jobs and have a turnover of more than 500,000 €, with a sustained annual growth of more than 20%, according to COTEC and Iberinform definitions.
They represent only 4-5 % of the Spanish business fabric, but their impact is disproportionate: during 2018-2021 they created more than 300,000 new jobs, while non-gazelle companies destroyed tens of thousands.
Why is this recognition so relevant for Alusín Solar?
Since our founding in June 2010 in Avilés, we have grown to a staff of around 50 people, producing more than 13 million euros per year in aluminum and steel solar structure installations. We transform more than 500 tons of aluminum and 2,120 tons of steel per year in our facilities.
In recent years, we have expanded our activity to new services such as CAREX® technical corridors for roofs (national leader) and the Alusín Solar Services division, focused on professional cleaning and clearing of solar parks.
Innovation, Made in Spain quality and an integrated vertical value chain (design, in-house manufacturing, transport and assembly) have allowed us to expand our presence in more than 32 countries in three continents, with more than 950 MW of projects supplied.
